Marquez volunteersto be Lucas’ lawyer in a lawsuit filed by a guy who got shot in the ass during a bank robbery; he also sees Silvia and Lucas hugging in the lab and he realizes that Silvia is still in love with her ex, so he walks away.

There is something so appealing about Silvia when she's in her lab. It's so totally her. It's so apparent that she and Lucas still have some sort of feelings for each other....though more so for Silvia. But you can tell that they were a couple. They've got good chemistry...not as good as PepSi but the sparks are there.
