Gonzola Montoya
angie005, MPep

Montoya shared the same fate. Although he pined for the redhead, he wasn’t able to keep her heart. That rollercoastered to his relationship with Ruth (that was undoubtedly heading to ruins), his lovesick crush on Pepa, his lust filled fling with Rita’s cousin Marga but when he finally found his true calling with Rita, he was met with untimely death.
However, what was the preparatory point of Montoya’s unlucky fate in the love department? It can be considered that his relationship with Silvia was the cause. So instead, how was he able to move on from La Pelirroja?
The couple share a long history:

I chose to write about Gonzola Montoya because Silvia (and Pepa) affects all characters on LHDP. PepSi University is Pepa and Silvia but I didn’t want to disregard the rest of the show. Hence, the reason why my first thesis was about Don Lorenzo.
I want to be able to explore the characters around PepSi and want to show readers that without them, we probably would not have such a diverse storyline with Pepa and Silvia.

Awesome lecture, Angie005, MPep. One more and you get your DPep, if you want.
Montoya was a quadriculado / straight-laced guy. He was really good to Silvia, although he was quite annoying. But if Silvia really loved him, she would have gotten past her annoyance, because when you're in love, that's just as inconvenience. I mean, how many times did Pepa annoy the heck out of Silvia? So in a way, he didn't deserve what he got from Silvia. Even Rebound Boys have a heart that can be broken and pride that must be preserved.
I guess GonSilvia were both quadriculadas/quadriculados, and that's a problem. They both had to live through a certain disciplinary code, which is okay in itself, but now when both of you are paralized by it.
So the Rita thing was totally believable for me. Gonzalo got his heart broken and mashed by beautiful, skinny, smart women. But Rita was real, true, and did not conform to his expectations. And I guess that's the awesomeness in that. Against all virtues and stereotypes, 2 people found each other and fell in love, against their better judgment. Not that's a gift.
Again, good job!
great job, angie. one of my favorite scenes of the two of them is the day of the big fight Silvia asking G about her temperment and if she was crazy. He was honest, loving and just a good friend. And told her how Pepa loved her.
and one day, will dr beke translate that damn shower scene?!
my english's not good but I hope U can understand me
Everyday I go to your blog to read your thesis. they' re touch and very exellent. I love them very much. of Course I love Pepsi's thesis most and the thesis about another ones are good too. I think why you dont write a thesis about Silvia's power who can make a free spirit like Pepa can get married or have a baby...I think It must be wonderfull
thanks you do a good job
Excellent lec Angie! I completely agree w/ your assessment re: other characters, so I'm looking forwards to future lectures that examine them and their relationship to PepSi.
Qosmio18: Angie always a fan. This was great. Montoya was a great guy and deserved happiness unfortunetly for him Silvia wasn't the one, come to think of it neither was Rita because they killed him off.... I'm ok I'm ok I'm ok. Where was I?....great job!
